What this site collects

Your email address, only if you subscribe. When you sign up, your email address and the time you signed up are saved in a private Google Sheet that only I can access. I use it to send occasional emails about new trips and travel tips. I don’t sell, rent, or share your email address.

Anonymous visit statistics. I use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are popular. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t follow you across other websites or build a profile of you. It records general information about a visit, such as the page viewed, the referring site, and your country, browser, and device type.

Standard hosting logs. The site is hosted by Vercel, which may keep technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.

Cookies

This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. If that ever changes, I’ll ask for your permission first.

Saving an itinerary

The “Save to Notes” and “Copy” buttons on itineraries work entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to me or anyone else.

Links to other sites

Posts link to hotels, tour companies, and social media accounts. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which I don’t control.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email I send, or by contacting me. You can also ask what I have stored about you, or ask me to delete it, and I’ll do it promptly. If you live in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under local law, and I’m happy to honor them.

To get in touch, send me a message on Instagram (@billnes).

Children

This site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If I change how the site handles information, I’ll update this page and the date below.
